Merrill Weber is the President of Cann10 USA. Originally from Chicago, he moved to Israel in August 2015. Mr. Weber has substantial experience taking medical technology products from concept to market. He is licensed to practice law in the US.

Mr. Weber is the President of Medventions, Ltd., an Israeli consulting firm that advises Israeli healthtech companies that wish to penetrate the US market. In that connection he has resolved numerous issues on behalf of an Israeli company preparing to launch a next-generation gastro-intestinal medical device in the US in 2017.

Mr. Weber is the Chief Executive Officer of Otology Solutions, an Israeli company that is developing a single-use, disposable device to enable otologists and otolaryngologists to repair perforated eardrums in a minimally-invasive outpatient procedure.

In 2012 Mr. Weber founded Stoma Ventures, a dental product company, and took its lead product, a single-use, disposable device, from concept to nearly $1 million in sales to the US government during its first year of commercialization.

Earlier, on behalf of a private equity firm called Chicago Venture Partners, Mr. Weber negotiated the acquisition of a Silicon Valley-based contract manufacturer in the medical device business and participated in commercialization of a single-use, disposable device used by blood banks.

Mr. Weber was the president of Advanced Stent Technologies, which developed a specialized stent and delivery system used to treat lesions in bifurcated areas of the coronary vasculature.  That company was sold to Boston Scientific Corporation.

Previously, Mr. Weber founded a securities broker-dealer in the US called Merrill Weber & Co. that specialized in private placements of equity securities and also participated in public offerings led by Lehman Brothers.

Earlier, Mr. Weber was a corporate attorney who worked in New York at law firms including Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison; Mayer, Brown; and Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson.

Mr. Weber is a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, the Columbia University School of Law, and Columbia College of Columbia University in New York.
